Wussten Sie dass noch nie so viele Europäische Taekwondo-Sportler bei Olympischen Spielen starten wie diesmal? Damit konnte sich Europa im Vergleich zu London steigern von 38 Teilnehmern aus 18 Nationen steigern auf 42 Teilnehmer aus 19 Nationen.

European Taekwondo athletes in Rio 2016

The 42 European athletes from 19 countries participating in Rio 2016 is the highest number of athletes representing the continent of Europe since Taekwondo was introduced in the Olympic Games. Also, two European countries are participating for the first time in the Olympic Games representing the sport of Taekwondo.

These are the athletes that will compete in the Olympic Games representing the European Union.
